Installation

1 Launch the MSI installer that matches the CAD system and version. For example, if you are running SolidWorks 2012 on a 64-bit computer, you would launch CostInAPriori_for_SW2012_Installer_x64.msi.
Note that the files designated “CATIA_V5R21” are also for CATIA V5 R20.

2 Click Next at the welcome screen.

3 For SolidWorks and NX, select the location where you want to install the plug-in.

For CATIA, the plug-in is installed directly in the CATIA installation folder.

Browse for and select the location of the aPriori installation folder and click Next. You must specify the correct location of the aPriori installation folder, or the plug-in will not function.

4 Click Install.

5 Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

After installing, there is a new toolbar button with the aPriori logo. In CATIA, you may need to enable the button from the View -> Toolbars menu option.
