This chapter describes the costing details and inputs that are available for the Assembly Plastic Molding process group. With this group, aPriori estimates times and costs for assemblies consisting of multi-shot, plastic-molded parts. The assemblies can also contain non-molded inserts as well as subcomponents to be included in the assembly through operations such as welding, bonding, or mechanical assembly.
