A Turning Axis is the axis of revolution for axis-symmetric geometry, which could be manufactured by turning processes. A part may have more than one turning axis. See the section "Turning Axes" in the Cost Model Guide for more information on turning axes, including system-created and user-defined turning axes.
Display turning axes for a part

In the Geometric Cost Drivers pane, expand the Component node by clicking the + icon, then click the Turning Axes node to display all turning axes for the part.

To display individual turning axes, you can click on each distinct turning axis listed under the Turning Axes node.
