An aPriori Dynamic roll-up is like a roll-up because it appears to be a list of parts, virtual parts, and assemblies. However, unlike a roll-up, a Dynamic roll-up cannot contain roll-ups or other Dynamic roll-ups because the contents of a Dynamic roll-up are determined by saved search terms that enable the list to update over time.

A Dynamic roll-up enables you to save and reopen a search at any time to review the current results. For example, this can help you track activity associated with projects, users, or process groups over the last 30 days, at defined recurring intervals.
