• Clamp Plate Holes Min: This is the minimum number of holes in the clamp plate and is specified by the cmClampPlateHolesMin cost model variable (4 holes in starting point Digital Factories).

• ((Mold Base Length / Clamp Plate Hole Spacing Length) + (Mold Base Width / Clamp Plate Hole Spacing Width) - 4) * 2:

  • Mold Base Length: This is specified by the Mold Base Size – Length setup option.

  • Clamp Plate Hole Spacing Length: This is the linear spacing of clamp plate mounting holes in the lengthwise direction and is specified by the cmClampPlateHoleSpacingLength cost model variable (203.2 mm in starting point Digital Factories).

  • Mold Base Width: This is specified by the Mold Base Size – Width setup option.
