Accessing and Modifying User Inputs

You can control user input values by modifying Process Setup Options, cost model variables, or toolshop variables:

• Process Setup Options – to access setup options for a given process, right click the process in the Manufacturing Process pane, and select Process Setup Options from the context menu.

• Cost model variables – see Process Defaults and Thresholds for more information.

• Toolshop variables – follow these steps to access toolshop variables for a given Digital Factory and process:

  1. Select Tools > Digital Factory Toolset and click the Digital Factory Manager button in the Digital Factory Toolset window.

  2. Double click the desired Digital Factory in the Select Digital Factory window.

  3. In the Digital Factory Manager, click + to expand the Plastic Molding process group, and then click + to expand Processes.

  4. Click + to expand the desired process, click + to expand Tool Shops, and then select Default.
