What’s New

.This release includes the following enhancements and improvements for users of aP Pro in the cloud:

Reduced Digital Factory Synch Times

Digital Factory synchronization is now up to 20% faster.

This release introduces some improvements to Digital Factory synch (update) times for customers using aPriori's cloud applications. After updating Digital Factory data in aP Pro, it is necessary to synchronize (publish) the updates to the multi-tenant applications. These synch times vary for each customer, depending on the number of Digital Factories available and the amount of data (such as materials and machines) contained within these Digital Factories, but they may take several hours. This hot fix reduces synch times by up to 20%, depending on the above factors. Additional reductions in Digital Factory synch times are planned for an upcoming release. Note that, as previously, Digital Factory synchs should be scheduled for off hours (nights and weekends) as they can otherwise degrade analysis times and success rates.

Resolved Issue with Assembly Analysis in aP Design and aP Generate

aP Design and aP Generate now successfully analyze assemblies that have CAD-disconnected scenarios that are included at multiple levels of the assembly hierarchy.

This release addresses an issue in which an error occurred when analyzing an assembly in aP Design or aP Generate. This error occurred only if the assembly included component scenarios at multiple levels of the assembly hierarchy that were CAD-disconnected, meaning the associated CAD file no longer was stored in the aPriori cloud (typically due to reaching a specified CAD file retention limit, 3 years by default). Now such assemblies are analyzed successfully.
