Digital Factory Manager Enhancements
aPriori now provides a script enabling Digital Factory administrators to efficiently delete inactive Digital Factories that are no longer needed.
Previously, the only way to remove unwanted digital factories was to delete them one at a time via the menu option File > Delete Digital Factory in the Digital Factory Manager module. In this release, a new script allows Digital Factory administrators to efficiently remove Digital Factories that are no longer required for costing. This reduces the size of your aPriori database, which saves disk space and reduces the time required to start a new session of aPriori.
The new script, deleteInactiveDFs.cmd, is located in the bin subdirectory of your aPriori installation. It can delete baseline Digital Factories that are marked as inactive by the import of a newer baseline Digital Factory and are not included in the overlay (inheritance) structure of a customer Digital Factory. The script provides options to do either of the following:
-
Delete all such inactive and non-inherited baseline Digital Factories in your deployments.
-
Delete a specified list of individual Digital Factories.
