2-Model Machining Enhancements
Significant Improvement in Scenario Opening Times for 2-Model Machining
In aP Pro, the source model scenario no longer is required to be opened when the machined model scenario is opened, reducing the time required to open the machined scenario by roughly half.
Prior to aPriori 2024 R1, for 2-Model Machining scenarios, aP Pro required that the source model (typically representing a raw casting or forging) be opened when the scenario representing the finished machined part was opened. If not already opened, aP Pro displayed a dialog prompting the user to open it. This is no longer required, and the user no longer will be prompted to open the source scenario. Note that any geometry changes made to the source model still will be reflected in the 2-Model Machining analysis, assuming that the scenario is still connected to the CAD model.
