Platform and CAD Support

aPriori 2024 R1 SP1 provides certified support for recently released versions of various CAD formats. aP Pro 2024 R1 SP1 also certifies support for a new operating system version (for use with aP Pro on-premise deployments).

For a complete and up-to-date listing of all versions of supported CAD systems, operating systems, database platforms, and graphics cards and drivers, consult the 2024 R1 SP1 versions of the aPriori On-Premise System Requirements and aPriori Cloud System Requirements.

If your company is planning to upgrade to a CAD, database, or operating system version that is NOT listed in the System Requirements, contact aPriori Customer Support.

Support for Windows Server 2022

Windows Server 2022 now is certified for use with on-premise deployments of aP Pro 2024 R1 SP1 and subsequent releases.

De-Support for Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019

Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019 reached Microsoft’s stated End of Life in January 2022 and January 2024, respectively. aPriori no longer officially supports Windows Server 2016. aPriori 2024 R1 SP3 will be the last aPriori release to support Windows Server 2019.

While it is expected that aPriori will continue to run properly on Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019, aPriori will no longer test on this operating system version and reserves the right to decline to investigate or address issues which are apparent only in this version.

CAD Systems and Formats

aPriori Professional 2024 R1 SP1 provides certified support for recently released versions of various CAD formats across our suite of applications and types of deployments: aP Pro (for aPriori on-premise deployments) and aP Pro in Appstream, aP Design, and aP Generate (for aPriori Cloud deployments).

The CAD versions listed below are now certified for use with aPriori 2024 R1 SP1:

  • NX™ 2312 Series

  • Catia V5-6 R34 (R2024)

  • SolidWorks 2024

  • Solid Edge 2024

Note however that the Cost-in-aPriori plug-ins will not be available for these CAD versions on the initial GA release date in June. They will be available shortly thereafter. Please alert your aPriori account team or aPriori Support if your company is moving to one of these new CAD versions and requires a compatible plug-in.

In the interim, you can load CAD files from these versions into aPriori using the File > Open CAD File menu option (in aP Pro) or the Import CAD Files toolbar button (in aP Design).
