4-Axis Mill Setup Axis Naming Convention
The latest Machining process model (CMV360) fixes a known issue where the second setup for 4-axis milled parts with two setups was labeled incorrectly as the Primary setup—see Improved Part Setups on 4-Axis Mill Machines in the 2025 R1 SP1 Release Notes for details. Now, when a part has two setups, one setup is labeled the Primary Rotational setup, and the second setup is labeled the Secondary Rotational setup.
Machining Grinding Setup Assignment
The latest Machining process model (CMV360) improves setup logic for the Cylindrical Grinding process. Grinding operations are now always assigned to a single setup axis, fixing an issue in previous releases where sometimes multiple axes were assigned.
