Assembly process detail

The Assembly Process Detail view displays detailed process information about an assembly, as well as Current, Previous, and Last Saved information. The Assembly Process Detail view is one of the predefined views available on the Assembly Details tab.

Selecting the Assembly Process Detail view

  1. Click the Assembly Details tab.

  2. Click the Table View menu, and then click on the Select Table View menu item.

  3. Click the Assembly Process Detail menu item to open the Assembly Process Detail view.

The Assembly Process Detail view includes the following fields depending on which manufacturing processes are used or are relevant:

Description

Total Times and Costs

Total Labor Time (secs)

The time that someone is paid to perform an operation/process on one part/assembly.

Total Cycle Time (secs)

The actual time that a machine/process is operating on a given part/assembly.

Manual Cycle Time (secs)

The time for a person to perform all tasks to weld one assembly, for example, loading, clamping, or arcing.

Robot Cycle Time (secs)

The time for a robot and its operator to perform all tasks to weld one assembly for example, loading, clamping, or arcing.

Total Labor Cost

The amount that labor is paid to complete the assembly task. The customer determines which components of labor compensation are included in the labor rate that is used to calculate labor cost. However, labor cost usually includes hourly wages and benefits.

Fixture Loading

Load Time (secs)

The time that operator(s) are paid to load parts into the welding fixture.
