Explore the Dashboard

The dashboard shows at a deployment level cost optimization data to demonstrate how design activities generate measurable business impact.

In short, it shows Total Spend and Cost Avoidance across projects

Populating data

The data in the dashboard is pulled from analyzes (costing) done in either aP Pro or aP Design, which are then added into aP Workspace Projects. See Populating Data.

Filters

Filter on Time Range, Cost Optimization, Process Group, Project Name, Project Status, and Project Type. You can also filter the dashboard by selecting values in the displayed charts or tables.

View Users by Group

Users by Group answers the question "How is the cost avoidance being driven or contributed to by each group within my organization" Note: this requires Department to be set via each user's Profile.

This displays the share of users contributing to final design iterations by department. Use this chart to see where design activity and value creation are focused in your organization.

View Cost Optimization

Cost Optimization answers the question 'How much Cost has been potentially affected through aPriori supported workflows"

This visualizes cost avoided or added by quarter, based on final iteration creation dates. Use this chart to identify which quarters or projects delivered the highest design-driven savings.

View User Details

This lists user-level activity data, to identify active contributors and analyze adoption patterns by role:

This summarizes cost optimization and business analyzed by project. Use this table to identify top-performing projects and prioritize follow-up analysis.
