Understand the Dashboard

Event Types

  • User.AccessControlChanged: User’s customer assigned role or optional additional roles were modified and saved. For more information on the access roles provided, please see Customer Assigned Roles.
  • User.Added: New user was created. User must subsequently be assigned role(s) to access aPriori applications.
  • User.Authenticated: User logged in to aPriori Cloud.
  • User.Authorized: User was authorized to access an application: aPriori Cloud Home, aP Connect, aP Design, aP Pro, aP Workspace, or Electronics Data Collection.
  • User.CADFileRegistered: CAD File was uploaded through aP Pro, aP Design, or aP Connect and was stored in aPriori Cloud.
  • User.Deleted: User was deleted and access was revoked.
  • User.MFAReset: User reset their aPriori Cloud MFA.
  • User.PasswordChanged: User changed their aPriori Cloud password.
  • User.Updated: User profile information was updated.
  • System.CADFileRemoved: CAD file was deleted from the aPriori Cloud, according to customer CAD file retention policy.

Event Details

  • Event ID: Unique identifier for event, only visible in downloaded dataset.
  • Event Type: Describes action that defines the event.
  • Timestamp: Time at which event occurred, in UTC format.
  • Family Name: Family (last) name of user who triggered the event.
  • Given Name: Given (first) name of user who triggered the event.
  • Username: aPriori username of user who triggered the event.
  • Email: aPriori email of user who triggered the event.
  • User Role: Customer assigned role of user who triggered the event.
  • IP Address: IP address of user who triggered the event. Only external IP addresses corresponding to customer users are displayed in the dashboard.
  • User Agent: User agent of user who triggered the event.
  • Application: aPriori application corresponding to the event.
  • Deployment: Deployment where event occurred, Production, Sandbox, or Preview.
  • CAD File Name: CAD File Name corresponding to the event, only applies to User.CADFileRegistered and System.CADFileRemoved event types.

Charts and Tables

  • Events Timechart: total number of events per day. Image
  • Events Aggregated by Event Type: total number of events per event type. Image
  • Events Aggregated by User: total number of events per user. Image
  • Geolocation of IP Address: the geolocations of IP Addresses corresponding to user events. Image
  • User Events: a maximum of 1000 rows of user events. Image

Filter

The User Activity Dashboard can be filtered on Timestamp, Username, Event Type, Deployment, and Application using the filter dropdowns at the top of the dashboard. By default, the dashboard is filtered to the last 90 days of user events, the maximum available time window, and all other filters are set to any / all.

The User Activity Dashboard can also be filtered by clicking on a table cell or chart element.

The tables within the User Activity Dashboard can be sorted on any column.
