CommonHoleGorup GCD
CommonHoleGroup GCDs are listed under Holes in the Geometric Cost Drivers pane. Each CommonHoleGroup represents a group of holes that all share the same diameter, tool identifier, start layer, and end layer.. Properties include:
Num Holes: the number of holes in the group.
Tool Number: identifier, specified in a Gerber file, for the tool used to make all the holes in the group.
Diameter: diameter of all the holes in the group.
Is Plated: indicates whether copper plating and tin coating is to be added to the hole. Users can edit this value in the Geometric Cost Drivers pane.
Is Outside Perimeter: if true, this flags a problem with the extraction process or with the information in the Gerber files. The extracted information indicates the presence of holes outside the board’s outline.
In addition, each CommonHoleGroup GCD bears the Lies On relation to each Layer GCD that it starts or ends on.
