Create a custom routing

To create or edit a custom routing:

1. In the Routing Selection window, click Edit > Customize Routing to view a list of processes available to insert into the routing, arranged by process group.

2. If necessary, create one or more custom processes to use in your routing. See Creating custom processes.

3. For each process you to your routing,

   1. Click on the process in the list of available processes
   2. Hold down the left mouse and drag the process from the panel to the Process Routing pane.
   3. As you do so, the User Interface dynamically display arrows indicating where the process be inserted if you release the mouse button.
   4. Drag the process to the desired position and release the left mouse key.
      • If you wish to insert the process in a different location, you can simply drag and drop it to the new location.
      • To remove the process from the routing, right-click on the node and select Remove from the popup menu.

4. If you wish to exclude any processes that are already in the routing, right-click on the node and select Exclude from the popup menu.

5. Depending on how you have customized your routing, it also may be necessary to customize the operation sequence for one or more GCDs. For more information, see Create a Custom Operation Sequence

6. Depending on how you have customized your routing, you might also need to manually assign operations on specific GCDs to different processes. For more information, see Assign Operations to Different Processes.
