aP Pro can automatically monitor a CAD file for geometry changes and apply any detected changes to an associated scenario for which costing or another action that requires the regeneration of Geometric Cost Drivers (GCDs) has been initiated. This can help ensure that your scenario reflects the current state of a design.
This function availability depends on the mode that aP Pro is operating in and whether the scenario is Active or Inactive (see Active and Inactive Scenarios).
aP Pro Modes
aP Pro can operate in these modes:

CAD-independent: aP Pro is not directly integrated with a CAD application. See Connect to CAD Model Information.

File-connected: aP Pro is connected to the CAD-file for a scenario for which an action that requires GCD regeneration has been initiated.

File-disconnected: aP Pro is not connected to a relevant CAD-file.

Direct integration: aP Pro is directly integrated with a CAD application. See Working in Direct Integration mode.

CAD-connected: aP Pro is connected to the CAD application and the active model in the CAD application is associated with the scenario for which an action that requires GCD regeneration has been initiated.
