Compare Scenarios
Use scenario comparisons to compare design options or scenario changes for multiple scenarios of all types, to assist design selection or support concept justification.
For example, in this comparison of different scenarios, each with a different input for the Digital Factory, you can quickly see that the basis (reference) scenario has the best combination of manufacturability and cost or Carbon:
The scenarios in a comparison can contain different types of components. For example, you can compare an assembly scenario to a part scenario, if you have both an assembly design and a part design that meet the same requirements.
Create Comparisons
You can create both Quick Comparisons and Manual Comparisons:
-
Quick Comparisons include a manually selected reference scenario, up to nine scenarios that aP Design identifies and includes based on the reference scenario, and any scenarios that you manually add after the comparison has been created. See Create a Quick Scenario Comparison.
-
Manual Comparisons include only scenarios that you manually identify by selecting them in the Explore tab or adding them in the Comparisons tab. See Create a Manual Scenario Comparison.
View Comparisons
To view saved comparisons, click the Comparison tab in the header bar:

Edit Comparisons
You can change and customize comparisons; for example, by adding more scenarios.
