aPriori Professional 2023 R1 provides Sustainably Insights that enable you to examine and compare the carbon emissions (CO2e) from different manufacturing scenarios for your parts. If you use Cost Insight Report, you can also examine the CO2e at the assembly level.

Examine, compare, and reduce manufacturing carbon emissions

aPriori Professional 2023 R1 introduces Sustainability Insights – a separately licensed module that calculates carbon emissions at the part manufacturing level. Cost Insight Report users can aggregate the data for part scenarios to determine the carbon emissions for assemblies.

If you are interesting in adding the Sustainability Insights module to your deployment, please contact aPriori Support.

The Sustainability module layers sustainability data on top of aPriori's cost models to enable you to create carbon baseline data, identify carbon outliers, and perform material, process, and design trade-offs to see the impact and take actions to reduce parts or product carbon footprint.

The data that the Sustainability module provides helps manufacturers determine the carbon footprint of their manufacturing processes, by calculating how much carbon is emitted during the manufacture of products and during the production of the materials that go into those products.

View Sustainability Results (aPriori Professional User Guide, 2023 R1).
Part Details tab – review, and, as applicable, edit data in either the All Data or the Sustainability Summary view.

aPriori continues to add Sustainability calculations to more processes. Please contact your aPriori representative if there is a specific process that you want Sustainability support for.

Sustainability Insights License

The Sustainability module requires release 2023 R1 or later of aPriori Professional and a Sustainability License. To determine if you have a Sustainability License, in aPriori Professional, in the menu bar, select Help > View License.

If you have a Sustainability License, in the License Information window, the Licensed Features column containsSustainability.
