New Feature: Value Discovery Dashboard

This release introduces the Value Discovery Dashboard, a new addition to Value Tracking that surfaces cost savings sitting outside your projects. It extends the value story that starts in the Design Value Dashboard. The Value Discovery Dashboard identifies designs that have been analyzed but have not yet been added to a project. These designs represent unrecognized cost savings, potential that exists in your deployment but is not yet reflected anywhere else.

All Data lists all eligible designs for your organization, subject to applied filters. Columns are deliberately curated so you can scan for the most valuable scenarios to explore by filtering through the noise.

Top 50 Designs ranks the top 50 designs by cost optimization for your organization over the previous year, a focused view to help you focus on and act on the most valuable designs in your deployment.

Filter to Narrow the Field

Time Range, Process Group, Material Type, Annual Volume, Optimization Range, and Base to Final % Change filters apply globally across the dashboard and table, so you can narrow the dataset and focus on the designs worth your attention.

KPIs and Designs by Group

New KPIs give a quick summary of unrecognized value at a glance: Total Unmapped Designs, Unrealized Cost Optimization, Unrealized Business Value, and Top 50 Optimization. Similar to the Users by Group chart in the Design Value Dashboard, the Designs by Group chart in the Value Discovery Dashboard breaks down unrecognized cost avoidance by department, so you can see where design activity and value creation are concentrated across your organization.

Add to Project Directly from the Dashboard

Found a design worth capturing? Open it in aP Design straight from the table or add it to a project in a single click. After you add it, it moves out of Value Discovery and into the Design Value Dashboard, propagating its value into your existing project reporting.

How Often Does It Refresh?

In this release, the Discovery Dashboard refreshes every 24 hours. Designs added to a project remain as shown in the Discovery Dashboard until the next refresh. The design appears in the Design Value Dashboard upon that dashboard's next refresh.

Who Can See It?

As with the Design Value Dashboard, users with the APRIORI_EXEC_SPONSOR role or the aP Project Lead enablement can access the Value Discovery Dashboard. Users granted access to the dashboards can view usage data across your organization, so you should grant access only to authorized stakeholders who require this information.
