Issues Resolved

aP Connect Insight 2023 R1 version 3.1.0 resolves these issues:

  • Mapped Multiselect UDAs Require Value – aP Connect supports the use of multiselect User Defined Attributes (UDAs), including the mapping of multiselect UDA values from PLM. In 2023 R1 version 3.0.0, however, if you set a multiselect UDA as a costing input and selected the mapping rule Mapped from PLM when no value was set for the associated field in PLM, the component for which the value was missing was not processed.

    In 2023 R1 version 3.1.0, if you set a multiselect UDA as a costing input and select the mapping rule Mapped from PLM when no value is set for the associated field in PLM, the component for which the value is missing will be processed.

  • Teamcenter PLM Write Limitation if Incompatible Data Type is Specified – In 2023 R1 version 3.0.0, if the data type of an aP Connect Field you included in a PLM Write action was incompatible with the data type for the field that the aP Connect Field was mapped to in Teamcenter, the PLM Write action failed and item revision objects remained checked out.

    In the aP Connect 2023 R1 version 3.1.0 user interface, the CI Connect Field label has not yet been replaced by the aP Connect Field label.

    For example, if you mapped an aP Connect Field of data type Real to a Teamcenter field of data type Integer, the PLM Write action failed and the item revision objects for which the PLM Write action was attempted remained checked out.

    In 2023 R1 version 3.0.0, if the PLM Write action fails for any reason, check out will be canceled for the item revision objects for which the PLM Write action was attempted.

  • Teamcenter Return Latest Revision Limitation – In 2023 R1 version 3.0.0, if you selected the Return Latest Revision checkbox for a Teamcenter workflow, only the latest revision of each component that met the query criteria was analyzed, and all revisions other than the latest were returned and transitioned to an errored state.

    As of the 2023 R1 version 3.1.0 release, if you select the Return Latest Revision checkbox for a Teamcenter workflow, only the latest revision of each component that meets the query criteria will be analyzed. All revisions other than the latest will not be returned.
