Known Issues and Workarounds¶
aP Connect Insight 2023 R1 version 3.1.0 contains unresolved issues from prior releases (as described in the release notes for the release in which they were identified) and these newly identified issues:
-
Incomplete Cleanup Upon Workflow Deletion – A scheduled cleanup job should remove all files that are associated the jobs that had been run for a deleted workflow. Currently, however, scheduled cleanup jobs do not remove CAD files and reference documents that are associated with jobs that are actively executing at the time of workflow deletion.
Workaround – Before you delete a workflow, manually cancel any jobs associated with that workflow that are actively executing. For more information about aP Connect job cancellation, see the aP Connect System Administration Guide or the aP Connect Agent REST API Reference Guide.
-
Scenario Name Case Insensitivity Limitation – If you analyze a scenario that has been analyzed previously and you specify the same scenario as was previously specified, but with different capitalization, the scenario will fail to be published. In other words, you will not receive results for scenarios that are reanalyzed if the specified scenario name varies in capitalization.
For example, if you set a scenario name value of initial for a component previously analyzed with the scenario name Initial, the Initial scenario will not be published and you will not receive results for the new analysis of the initial scenario.
Workaround – To avoid scenario collisions with mismatched cases, use a consistent case format for scenario name values or unique scenario names for each analysis event.
