Issues Resolved¶
Cost Insight Connect (also known as aP Connect) 2022 R1 resolves these issues.
-
ENOVIA® Agent Limitation for Parts Modified During Job Execution Resolved – Previously, if the geometry or relevant attributes of part object are modified in ENOVIA between the time that, as directed by a Workflow job, a Cost Insight Connect Agent retrieves the primary contents of the part and the time that the Workflow job is complete, the results that the Workflow job writes to ENOVIA could be stale.
Now, to ensure that Cost Insight Connect does not write attributes that are out of sync with the current version of a component, if the CAD model or attributes for a component have been updated after a Workflow that is configured to write back attributes for the component has been initiated but before the Workflow has written back the attributes, the Workflow will not write back the attributes.
-
Multi-file Assembly Costing Not Supported – Cost Insight Connect now supports costing for native, multi-file assemblies. Queries will return assemblies from PLM if any assemblies meet the defined query criteria.
- DFM Multiple Parts Summary Report Hyperlink Limitation Resolved – You can configure a Workflow to generate and attach a DFM Multiple Parts Summary report to an email. All part numbers are now hyperlinked to the associated Cost Insight Design scenario in the DFM Multiple Parts Summary Report. You can access a scenario that is referenced in the DFM Multiple Parts Summary report in either aPriori Professional or Cost Insight Design.
- Parentheses Limitation in Notification and Publish Filters Resolved – Parentheses are now supported in Notification and Publish Filters. If you include one or more open or close parentheses in your Notification or Publish Filter definition during workflow setup, any jobs run against that workflow may execute successfully.
- Error When Changing Batch Size in Costing Service Settings Resolved – In the Cost Insight Connect Costing Service Settings, changing batch size from "Manual" to "Automatic" no longer results in an error if you do not first clear the specified input value for "Manual".
- Error Querying on Teamcenter Newly-Added Properties – Querying on newly-added properties against a Teamcenter agent no longer results in an error because the agent now clears cached property values by refreshing objects.
- Limitation for Processing Workflows Name that Begin with a Dash Resolved – If you specify a workflow Name that begins with a dash, jobs invoked against that workflow may now execute to completion.
- Connector and Workflow Editing Limitation Resolved – To open a Connector or Workflow for editing in Cost Insight Connect, you select a row from the Connectors list or Workflows list, respectively, and then click Edit. If you use the up or down arrows on your keyboard while an Edit Connector or Edit Workflow window is open, the row that is selected will no longer change. The selected Connector or Workflow will remain open.
