Views and Global Controls¶
The aP Design UI is divided into the following distinct tabs or views:
- Explore
- Evaluate
- Comparisons
Switch between these views at any time by clicking their icons on the header bar:
The following table describes the actions associated with the global control icons in the header bar:

| Explore | Find your existing Scenarios and Components, create new Scenarios, Comparisons and Projects. |
| Evaluate | Provide inputs and analyze Scenarios, examine results and track progress. |
| Comparisons | Compare information and results of different Scenarios. |
| Set default values for the aP Design environment. See Set Default Values and Configure Preferences. | |
| Access help, including user documentation and Support. | |
| View your profile information and logout. |
