Access Control Model Extension for Out-of-Box Reports

Most Out-of-Box (OOB) reports adhere to access control rules. However, two types of reports, User Activity and Scenario Activity Reports, are not affected by access control rules because they do not show any information about individual scenarios.

As of release 2019 R2, all aP Analytics OOB reports the following categories adhere to access control:

  • General – Component Cost, Scenario Comparison, Assembly Detail, and Assembly Cost Reports

  • DTC – Design-to-Cost Reports for Machining, Casting, Plastic Molding, and Sheet Metal

  • Value Tracking – Design-to-Cost, Potential Savings, Sourcing, and Quoting Reports
