Appendix A: Log Files (On-Premise only)

This section points out the various log files that administrators for On-Premise installations can use for debugging and status. For Cloud installation, aPriori personnel will already have access to these files.

Tomcat Log files

The aP Admin server records informational, warning, and error messages to the typical Tomcat log files found in <drive>:\apriori-platform\tomcat\logs. These files record messages that may be specifically related to the Tomcat web server, or by the applications that are deployed to the server, including the scenario export manager, the scenario synchronization manager, the Jasper Reports server, etc.

aServer Log Files

The aServer logs capture output from exported jobs, and are located at:<drive>:\apriori-platform\aserver\logs

Installation Log Files

If the person who performed the installation followed the documentation exactly, then there should be logs that were created from the configuration scripts. These would have been created by specifying the “wtee” option on the command line. The exact name and location of these logs will depend on what the installer specified at installation time.
