Resolved Issues in Cost Insight Report

Enterprise Platform Release Notes 2021 R1 SP1

These issues were resolved in Cost Insight Report 2021 R1 SP1.

  • Microsoft SQL Server Only – Missing Input Controls Settings for Assembly Details Reports.

If your database is a Microsoft SQL Server database, for Assembly Details reports, the control settings are missing from the Input Controls window. Therefore, you cannot create or configure an Assembly Details report.

  • Support for TLSv1.2 Protocol for MySQL Databases

Cost Insight Report 2020 R1 SP2 supports the TLSv1.2 protocol for MySQL databases. This enhancement addresses a specific customer issue in which the aPriori client and server installations previously could not connect to the MySQL database when the TLSv1.2  protocol was used.

    Note:

Only the master component schema can leverage a TLSv1.2 SSL connection at this time. If your deployment has multiple schemas that require SSL support, configure your MySQL server to allow both TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2 protocols. Any dependent schemas will fall back to TLSv1.

  • Ad hoc domains from previous Cost Insight Report releases are not editable.

Cost Insight Report ad hoc domains that were released in releases prior to 19.2 cannot be edited in Cost Insight Report 19.2.1.0 The tool tips description fields exceed 255 characters, so they are not supported in Jaspersoft 7.2. As a temporary workaround, the tool tips in Cost Insight Report 19.2.1.0 are shortened. You can still run ad hoc views or reports that were built using these domains.
