Secure Handling for Files that Contain Clear Text Password

The Installation Setup Wizard no longer stores files that contain clear text passwords in the Enterprise Platform installation folder.

To satisfy security requirements related to files that contain clear text passwords, the Enterprise Platform Installation Setup Wizard for handling such files has been updated to implement these changes:

  • The dba_settings properties file is not moved into the aPriori Enterprise Platform Installation folder after installation. It remains in the installer executable folder.
  • The configuration properties file is deleted after installation.
  • Passwords are not logged in the Installation Log.
  • The jasperserver-pro/buildomatic folder, which contains properties files with clear text passwords required for upgrade, will be packed into a zip folder protected by the Jasper DB password.Autodesk® Inventor™
