Scenario Overrides

In 2018 R3 aP Analytics introduced these improvements for the way that the aP Analytics scenario export service handles overrides:

  • String value overrides are exported. (Prior to 2018 R3, only numeric fields were exported.)
  • Display labels for overridden fields are exported (instead of just the formula names)

  • For non-CSL formula overrides there may be default values that are overridden. Two fields were added to hold the default value: one for numeric values and one for string values, such that:

    • The default value is exported
    • Depending on the field type of the overridden field (numeric or string), the default value will be placed in the numeric or string default field, respectively.

  • All process and operation level overrides are exported.

    Note:

    Some fields in the aP Analyticsing database are set to zero. Certain fields such as labor and logistics cost are set to zero when they are exported to the reporting database. This happens when these fields are overridden in the aP Pro client. Not all fields behave this way. For example, direct_oh_cost and total_variable_cost are handled correctly.
