Report Authoring

Professional report authors can use Jaspersoft Studio to create customized reports for use by aP Analytics end users such as managers, project leads, engineers, and sourcing professionals. Such report authors typically have advanced skills with SQL, JAVA, and various Jaspersoft ETL tools. In general, these users will spend most of their time using Jaspersoft Studio and should look to the Jaspersoft Studio documentation for guidance. However, the aP Analytics documentation contains a schema model guide, which describes the tables that are available for advanced reports, and these companion spreadsheets:

  • Reporting Database spreadsheet – Information about the joins, table structure, and views in your Reporting Database.
  • Operational Database spreadsheet – Information about the joins and table structure in your Operational Database and the relevant derived tables in aP Analytics.
