LDAP Synchronization (On-Premise Only)¶
This discussion applies to only aPriori On-Premise deployments. In aPriori Cloud deployments, any synchronization requirements are handled by aPriori.

aPriori LDAP Synchronization gives you the ability to define jobs that automatically update aPriori user accounts from one or more LDAP servers.
LDAP connections are defined in the aPriori client System Administrator window. Once one or more of these connections exist, you can manually update user information from the LDAP server by continuing to use the System Administrator window. This manual LDAP process is called LDAP Map.
However, you can use aP Admin’s LDAP Synchronization module to define jobs that specify when and how to update your aPriori user accounts automatically with changes that have occurred in your LDAP server(s). This automated process is called LDAP Sync.
For more information about setting up LDAP connections, see the "Managing LDAP Server Connections" section of the aP Pro System Administration Guide. For information about configuring LDAP Synchronization, read the rest of this guide.
For assistance with these tasks, contact aPriori Customer Support (support@apriori.com) or Professional Services.
