aP Admin Overview¶
aPriori aP Admin™, which is available for both aPriori On-Premise and aPriori Cloud deployments, serves two main functions:

Exportation – Supports aP Analytics by exporting scenario, user, Access Control permissions and restrictions, and currency exchange rate data from your aPriori operational database to your aPriori reporting database. (For both On-Premise and Cloud deployments.)

Synchronization – Supports data maintenance across geographically dispersed On-Premise deployments in your organization by supplying tools for synchronizing scenario, user account, and Digital Factory (VPE) data. (For aPriori On-Premise deployments only; aPriori handles synchronization for Cloud deployments.)
For both aPriori Cloud and aPriori On-Premise deployments, these aP Admin exportation tools allow you to export data from your aPriori operational database to your aPriori reporting database:
- Scenario Export – Export part, assembly, and roll-up scenario data.
- System Data Export – Export user, Access Control group, and currency rate data.
For aPriori On-Premise Deployments only, these aP Admin synchronization tools allow you to synchronize data across multiple locations:

Scenario Synch – Synchronize component scenarios.

VPE Sync – Synchronize Digital Factories (VPEs).

LDAP sync – Synchronize additions, deletions, and modifications to user information as employees join, change roles in, or leave your organization.
aP Admin synchronization modules are not available for Cloud deployments because aPriori handles the synchronization requirements in the aPriori Cloud.
