Pre-Filters

Pre-filters are Domain level column filters that are applied when data is retrieved from a data source. As such, pre-filters allow you to filter unnecessary data across Ad Hoc views.

To examine the definition of a pre-filter

1. Open the aPriori Ad Hoc Data Domain to the Domain Designer. For more information, see To Open the Domain Designer.
2. In the Domain Designer menu bar, click Pre-Filters. The Pre-filters tab opens. The Pre-filters tab contains the Data Structure panel, on the left side of the tab, and the Pre-filters design panel, to the right of the Data Structure panel. The aPriori Ad Hoc Data Domain contains one pre-filter which is applied to the export_event:status field. The export_event:status pre-filter restricts the data that is retrieved from the data source to export events that have one these values for status:
   • Completed
   • Partial

If you want to filter our data from partially completed export events, edit the export_event:status pre-filter.
