Exporting Digital Factories Using aP Pro in the Cloud

Digital Factory exports can be slow or fail if you export a Digital Factory Zip file to your Home Folder from the Digital Factory Toolset or Digital Factory Manager of aP Pro within AppStream. The performance reduction and export failure issues occur because an AppStream background synchronization operation cannot handle the large number of temporary files that the Export Digital Factory to Zip Digital Factory option creates in the Home Folder.

To avoid these issues, export Zip files to the Temporary Files folder instead.

Note:

You can also use the Temporary Files directory to upload or download files, and to store files during the current session, but the contents of the directory are automatically deleted immediately at the end of each AppStream session. So you can upload a CAD file to the Temporary Files and then cost it in aP Pro, but the connection to the CAD file is lost when the AppStream session ends.
