Licensing¶
All licensing and user management is handled by aPriori Support. Please contact aPriori Support for any user addition, removal, or licensing changes.
CAD File Retention Policy¶
The CAD file retention policy specifies the number of days after which aPriori removes a customer-submitted CAD file from the cloud. The retention policy applies to CAD files opened in aP Pro via AppStream, CAD files uploaded to aP Design and aP Generate/aP Connect, and Bulk Costing workflows. (If you are using aP Pro via AppStream, you can also manage and delete CAD files in AppStream home folders as needed.)
The default retention period is 1095 days (three years). If required, aPriori Customer Support can change the retention period to between 1 day and 1095 days. After the new retention period is enabled, aPriori automatically deletes an uploaded CAD file after the designated time period.
This option is recommended only for customers that have a strict CAD data retention policy. Changing the retention period limits the ability of users to re-cost a scenario after a CAD file is deleted and limits some workflows. Please discuss and fully evaluate the ramifications of changing the retention period with your account team. If you decide that a different retention period is right for your organization, please contact aPriori Customer Support.
Graphics Drivers¶
aPriori uses a third-party component from Tech Soft 3D called HOOPS for displaying graphics. aPriori can be configured to use OpenGL or OpenGL2. As of 2020 R1, DirectX 11 is the default Graphics Driver for aP Pro.
Localization¶
aP Cloud applications are available only in English.
