The following changes might impact costing, even for Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions.
- Core Thickness and Machining Time: This release corrects a rare problem with the determination of core thickness and volume that could occur when a core body in a CAD model was modeled by a set of joined surfaces with the surface normal pointing inward rather than outward as expected. The problem led the cost model to choose excessively small tools for core machining in some cases. As a result of this change, machining cycle time for some cores might decrease, compared to the previous release.
