Run aPriori Baseline Update

aPriori recommends you run the aPriori baseline update before importing any digital factories.

This is because an imported Digital Factory may contain new fields not referenced in the old baseline; so, without running an update, an import could cause failures or provide expected results

Typically, this update takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Prerequisites

aPriori Customer Support will provide the update package to you - download this to a local folder, and load the new license file from this package (see Load a License).

To import the baseline update file:

  1. In the Digital Factory Toolset, click File > Import > aPriori Baseline Update…

  2. Navigate to the baseline update file, select it, and click Open. If you downloaded the file using Internet Explorer, the original file extension (.apx) may have been changed to .zip. By default, the file browser only displays files with .apx extensions, so you will need to either select All files in the Files of type: field or change the file extension of the update back to .apx.

  3. Click OK. While the update is being loaded, you will see the progress in the lower right corner of the Digital Factory Manager Toolset.

  4. When the update completes, a message pops up confirming that the update was successful.

  5. Click OK.
