Database Connections

The components and scenarios that you create and work with in aP Pro are stored in your organization's Operational Database.

Refresh the Database Connection

At any time, you can refresh aP Pro with information stored in the database (losing unsaved changes). Select File > Refresh Database Connection, then click Yes when prompted.

View Database Connection Speed

The Database Connection Monitor is labeled Connection and in the upper right of aP Pro.

It displays Fast, Average, Slow, or Poor. If you hover over the Database Connection Monitor, a tool tip shows the time in milliseconds for aP Pro to make a connection to the database. The tool tip output is refreshed every 10 seconds.
