Cost Model Changes that Do Not Affect Configured Digital Factories

The following changes do not affect costings with Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions. The changes are available only in the latest cost model version (CMV 180).

  • This release introduces prioritized design guidance for the Additive Manufacturing process group, and adds the manufacturabilitySeverity and adviceRules lookup tables to the Additive Manufactruring process model. See the aP Pro Release Notes for more information.

  • manufacturabilitySeverity stores severity thresholds for all classified rules and enables Digital Factory administrators to customize values.

  • adviceRules allows Digital Factory administrators to enable or disable individual advice rules to align design feedback with their maufacturing standards.
