Cost impact for upgrades to aPriori Professional 2021 R1

The following change has potential impact for all process groups:

  • Secondary Digital Factory Checkbox (Potential Impact: Secondary Process Costs): This release corrects a problem with the Virtual Production Environment Selection dialog (now called Digital Factory Selection dialog). In the previous release, aPriori ignored the checkbox labeled Use Primary VPE for secondary processes when something other than the primary VPE (now Digital Factory) was selected in the associated drop-down list. In this release, when Use Primary Digital Factory for secondary processes is checked, the primary Digital Factory is always used for secondary processes, and the associated dropdown list is greyed out.

As a result, for a scenario that was cost in a previous release, if this checkbox was checked and a non-primary Digital Factory was selected in the associated dropdown list, secondary process costs may change if the scenario is recost in this release.
