Cost Model Changes that Do Not Affect Configured Digital Factories¶
The following changes do not affect costings with Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions. The changes are available only in the latest cost model version (CMV400).

Parts Costed in Digital Factories Without Machining: This release corrects an error introduced in aP Pro 2025 R1 SP3, in which scenarios costed in a Digital Factory that did not include the Machining process group could display an error when the user reviewed design guidance results.

Final Tool Feed Rate: In previous releases, the Final Tool Feed Rate value could round to zero for operations with a very small feed, even though the underlying feed was nonzero. In this release with the latest Machining process model (CMV400), the displayed value now uses additional decimal places when needed, so it reflects the actual feed.

Cycle Time for Fine Finish Milling: Previously, Fine Finishing operations on curved surfaces, curved walls, and planar faces could calculate an infinite cycle time when the feed rate for the operation was very small and rounded to zero. In this release with the latest Machining process model (CMV400), the feed calculation now uses the correct value, so cycle time calculates correctly for these operations.
