Various Process Groups

The following changes have potential impact regardless of cost model version:

  • Default Material Purchase VolumeThe default purchase volume for Digital Factories across baseline RDLs now is set to reflect high-volume usage. This is a change in behavior from the previous default setting of low volume which had been in effect since aP Pro release 22.1. High-volume pricing becomes the default in the 2023-09 RDLs. The change affects material prices only for the following process groups:

    • Bar & Tube Fab
    • Forging
    • Multi-Spindle Machining
    • Sheet Metal
    • Sheet Metal – Hydroforming
    • Sheet Metal – Stretch Forming
    • Sheet Metal – Transfer Die
    • Stock Machining Administrators can restore the behavior of the previous release by setting the default purchase volume to the low volume. See Managing Default Purchase Volumes.

  • Diametrical Tolerance: aPriori previously had an issue reading diametrical tolerances from features that were created in CAD using a pattern or mirror. This issue has now been resolved. This change can affect all process groups.
