Cost Model Changes that Do Not Affect Configured Digital Factories

The following changes do not affect costings with Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions. The changes are available only in the latest cost model version (CMV360).

  • Hem Check Advice for Progressive Die Routing: A supporting calculation used by the die station hem check advice rule in the progressive die routing was inadvertently removed in a previous release (Sheet Metal manufacturing process model CMV330, released with aP 2025 R1 SP3), which could cause an error during the costing of affected scenarios. This release with the latest process model version (CMV360) corrects this error.

  • In previous releases, costing certain Sheet Metal parts that use 3 Roll Bending could fail with a sustainability configuration error: CSL ASSERT FAILED: SUSTAINABILITY CONFIGURATION ISSUE - powerProfileFactors table for 3 Roll Bending is missing some element(s) of the cycle time calculation and should be updated. This release with the latest process model version (CMV360) corrects this error.

  • Excessive Feature Size Guidance: Turret press punching design guidance could flag an Excessive Feature Size issue on blank edges that combine both concave and convex curvature, even though these edges are better suited to nibbling than punching. In this release with the latest process model (CMV360), this issue no longer fires for multi-curved edges.

  • Direct Overhead and Cycle Time Overrides: Overriding the cycle time on a progressive die part updated labor cost but not Direct Overhead cost, so the two costs could become inconsistent. In this release with the latest process model (CMV360), Direct Overhead cost now recalculates correctly when cycle time is overridden.
