Cost Model Changes that Do Not Affect Configured Digital Factories

The following changes do not affect costings with Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions. The changes are available only in the latest cost model version.

  • Coating of Tooling (impacts tooling cost): In the previous release, costing failed if the user assigned a tool coating (via the setup option Coating of Tooling) to a progressive die station other than one performing deep drawing, drawing, or extruding operations. In this release, costing no longer fails in this situation. In addition, aPriori includes the user-assigned coating type for all progressive die stations in the total coating cost calculation. The result is visible on the Investment tab under Total Tool - Coating Cost.
