Cost Model Changes that Do Not Affect Configured Digital Factories

The following changes do not affect costings with Digital Factories that use earlier cost model versions. The changes are available only in the latest cost model version.

  • Site variables VoxelCount and VoxelSizeSafetyFactor: these site variables have been removed and replaced by cost model variables with the same names. The site variables were not used in geometry extraction but rather were used only by the cost model. The cost model now uses the new cost model variables instead. If you customized the values of these site variables, you must re-enter your customization by setting the values of the new cost model variables.
