Excluding investment costs from fully burdened costs

aP Pro provides a plant variable named disableInvestmentAmortization, which enables you to control whether Amortized Tooling and other Investment Costs are included in the Fully Burdened Cost of a component, to correspond with cost accounting practices. At some sites, accounting practices are such that tooling and other capital costs are attributed to a separate budget and are not considered part of the component’s Fully Burdened Cost, nor should they affect the determination of the lowest cost routing. By default, this plant variable is set to FALSE and tooling/investment costs are included in Fully Burdened Cost.
