What’s new for PCBA Costing Module 2021-04

PCBA and Wire Harness Release Notes 2021-04

The changes in this release apply only to the aPriori PCBA Product Digital Factory. You must upgrade to aP Pro 2021 R1 or a related service pack or hot fix, and Regional Data Libraries 2021-04 (July 2021) to utilize these enhancements.

  • Cost Model Update – The PCBA cost model was updated to allow incorporating PCB fabrication estimates generated by the new PCB fabrication process group and to improve clarity of the purchase variance functionality.

  • Terminology Change – The term Virtual Production Environment (VPE) has been replaced by the term Digital Factory.

Note:

The VPE terminology change has not yet been implemented in the Wire Harness Costing Module.
